Murphy Deals is a coupon and deals directory for Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, Laughlin, Flagstaff, Parker and the wider Tri-State area, powered by Murphy Broadcasting. Shoppers find discounts on hotels, boat and jet ski rentals, restaurants, shopping and more.
Zemotify designed and built the platform: what-and-where search, category and location browsing, business listings with open or closed status, an events calendar, and self-service forms for businesses to add listings, coupons and special events.
Introduction
Local businesses in a tourist region need a steady flow of customers, and visitors want to know where the deals are today. Paper coupon books and scattered social posts serve neither side well.
Murphy Deals, from Murphy Broadcasting, set out to put local coupons for Mohave County and the Tri-State area in one place, searchable by what you want and where you are.
The platform had to make deals easy to find for shoppers and easy to publish for businesses, without the team entering every coupon by hand.
The challenges
